Why is windshield maintenance important? Well like any part of a vehicle its important to make sure its in the proper condition and working the way it should. The first thing one can do is ensure the glass in good standing by inspecting the glass for any small cracks or chips. The second maintenance step to take is is to check your wiper blades. Often times wiper blades become dry and along with not wiping properly, they can can wind up scratching your windshield creating streak marks.
Lastly, you can apply products to help preserve your windshield. Products like or similar to Rain-X can help with the preservation by helping deflect bugs and other dirt particles. We offer a product that is better than Rain-X that chemically bonds to the windshield and helps repel water, bugs and dirt called GlassParency.
